Privacy policy
This policy explains how Lex Appeal processes personal data collected on lexappeal.fr, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and French data protection law.
Data controller
Arthur Debono, sole trader (micro-entreprise), trading as Lex Appeal, 34 boulevard Albert 1er, 59491 Villeneuve-d'Ascq, France. Contact: arthurdebono@lexappeal.fr.
Data collected and purposes
- Contact form: name, company, work email, team size, topic and message. Purpose: to respond to your request for contact, information or a quote.
- Booking: if you book a slot, the information entered in the Cal.com calendar (name, email, any message) is shared with Lex Appeal to organise the call.
- Maturity assessment: your answers are calculated in your browser and are neither transmitted nor stored.
- Audience measurement: the website may use cookieless audience measurement with no personal identifier (aggregated traffic statistics).
No sensitive data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR is collected.
Legal bases
Processing is based on your consent, given by voluntarily submitting the form or booking a slot (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), and on Lex Appeal's legitimate interest in responding to requests (Article 6(1)(f)).
Retention period
Data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then for a maximum of three years after the last contact for business follow-up, unless you object or ask for deletion.
Recipients and processors
Data is intended for Lex Appeal only. It is never sold, rented or transferred. Lex Appeal uses the following technical providers acting as processors:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting and form delivery;
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.): sending emails from the form;
- Cal.com, Inc.: booking calendar, loaded only at your request.
Transfers outside the European Union
These providers are based in the United States. Transfers are covered by GDPR safeguards: the EU–US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision for certified companies and, otherwise, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
The website itself does not set any advertising or analytics cookies. The Cal.com calendar only loads if you click "Show availability"; that service may then set the cookies it needs to operate, under its own policy.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object and port your data, to withdraw your consent at any time and to set instructions regarding your data after your death. To exercise these rights, write to arthurdebono@lexappeal.fr or to the postal address above. You will receive a reply within one month.
You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
The French version of this policy prevails.
